A place that bears witness to human genius
The historic reservoir of the Canal du Midi, the Saint-Ferréol basin is the central point of the canal's water supply system. Along with the dam, the gutters and the Galerie des Robinets, it bears witness to one of the most monumental achievements of the reign of Louis XIV.
LE RESERVOIR is dedicated to the discovery of this exceptional work, the Canal du Midi, and to its brilliant designer, Pierre-Paul Riquet.
