In 1974, Jean Dieuzaide created the Galerie du Château d'Eau in Toulouse, the first public gallery in France devoted to photography.
Dominique Roux joined him in 1982 to create the Centre de documentation photographique. He continues to run the center until 2018.
Until 1996, he worked alongside Jean Dieuzaide, following his work and collaborating on the organization of major international exhibitions
at the Château d'Eau.
Today, he teaches the history of photography and the semiology of the image at the Université Jean-Jaurès de Toulouse, the Ecole Supérieure d'Audio-Visuel de Toulouse and the Ecole de Photographie de Toulouse.
Dominique ROUX will share his experience and human adventure with one of the great masters of 20th-century photography.
