Port-Lauragais

This small marina has around fifteen berths. It is the departure (or arrival) point for the 49 km cycle path along the Canal du Midi to Toulouse. Port-Lauragais is located on the motorway service area of the same name, between Villefranche de Lauragais and Castelnaudary.
Canal cruises, boat rentals, tourist information... there's plenty to do here to discover the Canal du Midi! There's even a free exhibition devoted entirely to the canal.

The port and its infrastructures

A small marina built around a 1.5-hectare stretch of water overlooking the Canal du Midi, Port-Lauragais has a harbor master's office, a launching ramp for small boats and a barge mooring area. Its 180 meters of quays with 8 double bunkers (14 moorings) and its sanitary facilities enable yachtsmen to stay on site.

Your stopover in Port-Lauragais is the perfect opportunity to explore the Canal du Midi!

  • A free exhibition is dedicated to him.
  • You can also rent Nicols and Navicanal boats for multi-day cruises, or small electric boats for short trips on the water.

Port-Lauragais also offers a wide range of services for a relaxing stay! A recently renovated hotel, a restaurant renowned for its cassoulet and a bar-cafeteria welcome you to the waterside.

The "Maison de la Haute-Garonne" features a store selling local products (crafts and gastronomy) and a tourism area (information, ticket office and holiday sales), inviting you to discover the region's know-how and tourist heritage.
